The Hornet must climb to the top, wading through the kingdom in hopes of finding a fortress that may hold some of the answers surrounding her capture. Upon liberation, the Hornet finds herself at the bottom of this mysterious new kingdom “infested by Silk and Song” – hence the name. This probably happens right at the beginning of Silksong, which is unlocked as the Wasp is captured and taken to Pharloom. In the earliest trailer, we see the Hornet freed from its silk ties. Therefore, while we may feel stronger in the beginning, we can also expect bosses to find new ways to punish our behavior. While this can make Silksong look easier, we know it will focus more on combat. This is a great contrast to the original where the Knight will slowly heal one mask at a time.
